Well it looked like they were all done with their lion topiary. At least the best they were going to get it as Headmaster Botros called time and indicated it was time to move on with the activity. Which meant it was time to race. Benny looked around to the group of Gryffindors that had been around and helping out with the cutting wondering who was going to go first like was established by the directions set forth by the older man. When no one seemed quick to jump forward, not even Zander as student leader, the seventh year figured he might as well start them off himself.
"Guess I'll go first..." he mused aloud to the group, keeping his hold on his wand instead of putting it away. Hoping the rest of his housemembers were going to move into place to take the further roles in the race. He himself needed to animate it first before he could go, climbing onto it to be ready. Focus...focus...focus on the spell. "Piertotum Locomotor!" he finally cast, pointing and aiming at the pruned lion topiary. Benny wasn't sure it had worked at first, but then the legs started moving and its head looked around as if wondering who of them was going to control it.
"Come on Mister Lion..." Benny said getting it attention. "Let's go!!!" the Gryffindor directed, the lion thankfully following his command and taking off after the eagle and the snake. He could do this...THEY could do this since it was team work between house members and mascot topiary. Eventually he was nearing the first marker where he was to be passing it off to someone.
