Maggie watched as Dante animated the topiary.
And then he was off and was doing so good and also looking good riding on that snake topiary. They were going to WIN this. The ravenclaws were sliiiightly ahead but that didn't mean anything. They would still win this. They had a great team. They were Slytherins after all. They were BORN TO WIN!

Beaming at Dante she quickly climbed on the snake aaaand off they went, in hot pursuit of that other ravenclaw. That older one. What was her name again? Rae? Something with R. Hmm. Actually NEVERMIND her name, that wasn't relevant. She had to focus on winning this race and like finding things and doing stuff and like-
OMG WHAT WAS THAT ON THE GROUND THERE?!?!?
Really excited over her find Maggie pointed her wand at the ground next to her and said, "Accio!!" And the next thing she knew was that a whole wave of DIRT hit her in the face along with something that felt like some kind of cloth. Sneezing, then wiping at her face frantically, Maggie tried to figure out what the latter was. It looked like...a torn off piece of a FLAG. Weird. Was this relevant?
Maggie used her wand to clean her face and hair while trying to make the snake go faster. They still had to win this! And she had that flag thing! The color sort of reminded her of DOT's hair really. After a BUS had repeatedly driven over it and it had spent the last decade underground. So yeah. It didn't really look like Dot's hair. Maybe it had once upon a time.
Oh but there was the next person. TAG, you're it. Maggie jumped off, still holding onto the 'flag', ready to watch her team win. After she'd properly cleaned herself off that is. SLYHERINS, WINNING AT LIFE! |
