So when he responded next, it was with a shake of the head. Daxton did not look at Moxley, engrossed as he was with the ducks, but eventually put them both back on the shelf and focus instead on writing out another reply in his notebook. When he was done he turned it around to show her again.
'No. I do not care about points, they make no sense. I already know about non-magical things.'
While Daxton held up the notebook, he looked about the room again. There was just so much stuff in here. Too much. It was a little overwhelming, in all honesty; an unnecessary amount of stuff. Well then. Moxley looked a bit disappointed but she did appreciate the boy's candor. At least now she had a better understanding of why the claw had exited her class and thank Merlin it had nothing to do with her teaching because let's face it, the Moxinator's heart couldn't take a blow like that.
"Thank you for your honesty, Mr. Prince." She'd taken a seat behind her desk by this point, allowing Daxton to have a look around without her hovering over him. Most of the students reacted to her office like this so it wasn't surprising.
