Why was Zander looking at her like that? Sophie had hardly done ANYTHING AT ALL. Grinning angelically, she batted her eyes at him and replied breezily, "I have no idea what you're talking about." No idea AT ALL.

This game of tic-tac-toe was quite simple, really, and... there was no way anyone was going to win this, she could see it already. She was going to block his chance at a three-in-a-row now, then he would end up trying for the middle row, and she would block that... and it was going to end in a stalemate.

Better that way, really. Then they BOTH won.
