Yes Zander was quite aware of the fact that the sound of his knee hitting the desk could've potentially drawn the unwanted attention of Professor Tanner, but that look Sophie was giving him was hardly even fair. "You're entirely too pleased with yourself," he shook his head, attempting to look disappointed but failing terribly. Merlin. He couldn't even pretend to be mad while she sat there giggling up a storm. But HER giggling was no doubt what would get them the Professor's attention. Zander had hardly anything to do with it. Just sayin'.

He waited for Sophie to take her turn, hoping that she wouldn't block his three in a row-- But of course she caught it, so siiiiigh. Not that he was really paying any attention to the game anymore, anyways. Waiting until she was done, he politely took the quill from her hand and didn't nab it away UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE COUGH SOPHIE BROWN.

Where to go? He had almost missed her top row, choosing to go for the bottom right corner... But before his quill hit the parchment WAIT. Aheeeeeem. There. That's where he meant to go from the very start.
