She could not get enough bacon.
Which was why Evangline was late to the activity/competition part of the camp and ALSO why she was still eating strips of bacon on her way over to the Ravenclaw topiary. But she was just in time to hear the tail end of the instructions. They were going to have the eagle with its wings spread, as if it were taking off. Sounded MAJESTIC.
Stuffing the last bit of bacon into her mouth, Evie wiped the crumbs off her hands and onto her uniform and pulled her wand. "Flipnsnipwitit," Evangeline said slowly to Rooney, who had just asked Sophie what it was, but... whatever, you know, Evie was there to help too. "It's the trimming charm. It's really good for small branches and details. Diffindo will do good for bigger branches, too."
And with that, Evie designated herself a WING DESIGNER. Since she was older and had a bit of experience with wandwork, Evie started trimming away branches to create a feathery looking texture for the eagle's wings. "Flipnsnipwitit!" She cast multiple times to help shape the wings. You know, she wasn't particularly artistic, but maybe Topiary designing was easier than painting... |
