Edging that last bit to the edge, she put her paws on the edge of the sofa then stuck her TAIL into the air to counter-balance her as she peeked over the edge at kitten!Lance. ”Mreeeeooowwwww?” She asked, head tilting slightly as she watched him.

Was he okay? Could he move his tail and his paws and his head? LOOK AT HOW CUTE HE WASSSS.

Gosh, why hadn’t she thought to get one of the older kids to take a picture of them as kittens? This would have been something to tell Alis and her little baby brother about at Christmas.

Wriggling around, he finally got to his stomach and looked EVERYWHERE. This was disorienting to say the least. Everything was BIG. The little heart in his chest couldn't beat any faster than it was. All that preparation from before, WASTED.

Hearing the meow again, kitten!Lance hobbled to his feet and stumbled around just to look behind him, right at the foot of the giant couch. That giant cat he saw, WHERE WAS IT? Though now that he had a moment to himself, the realization that HE was now a cat was...

Jumping jellyfish.

Peering down at his PAWS, omghehadpaws, his little fury white legs wiggled unsteadily as he finally managed to stay on all four legs. He had paaaaaws. AND whisker things. He could feel them, which was...weird. And a TAIL! He flicked that, whether out of instinct or what, it didn't matter. He felt it. It was theeeere! Turning his head that made it seem like he had no bones in his neck (that all cats seem to be able to do) to look at the tail, he fell to the side, rolling onto his back.

WAIT. There was that giant cat he saw earlier! The black one, with the white!

"Mew?"
