He kinda forced to keep his beam up, though it lessened slightly at the mention of the homework he was working so hard on trying to avoid. Well, it wasn't like she knew he didn't do it yet, right? And she wasn't a professor, so he wouldn't get into trouble for not doing it. Per say. And he certainly wasn't feeling guilty for not doing it........ per say.

Fiddling with the edge of his chessboard, he nodded a little, glancing around as if trying to find a good place for his friend to take the potion because...distractions. EXCEPT SHE ASKED THAT. SLSKFJA! "NOPE," he blurted out in a squeak before regaining himself. "I-I mean, no, I haven't."

Holy snaps she knew. Ehhhh.
