Especially not her opinion of him, although the reaction had made it lower a little bit more. “Probably not,” she replied. “I prefer sugar quills.” If he really felt like knowing that. The idea of having to catch her candy just didn’t seem like anything that would make her happy. Or having to bite its head off merely so it didn’t try to escape. Surprisingly, she wasn’t evil to frogs, unless they did something to merit it. Frogs weren’t spiders.
At least she’d gotten a few seconds of peace, once she’d approached the railing. Maybe letting him think she’d taken his offer actually accomplished something, even when she hadn’t actually done it because he’d asked. She didn’t have to tell him that. Although the peace was broken only a few moments later. Unfortunately. She’d raised an eyebrow as he’d asked about her cat, too. That wasn’t going to raise her opinion either. “Down in my dorm,” she said, still looking out at the view. Either that or the common room. She just knew Tywin wasn’t off wandering. “There haven’t been any spiders.” He’d asked how the term had been so far, after all. That was all she’d say about that.
Aha. Sugar quills.
"I'll keep that little fun fact in mind,'' Adi told Brooklyn now getting all cheery again. Yep, he was getting over his surprise that she didn't like chocolate Frogs though he wasn't exactly sure why it had come as a surprise. Brooklyn was someone unusual... kinda. Anyway, he DID like to keep information in his head when it came to his friends.
"I'll get you some the next time we're allowed to go to Hogsmeade.''
Okay, so Tywin was probably still cat napping. Get it? Cat and nap? Haha. Adi was hilarious! As for the mention of spiders...
"Yeah. I'm glad about that too. Though I'm sort of resentful towards their webs more than the actual spiders. I really hate the way the things feel.'' He had developed a slight phobia for the sticky webs.
