Hope Adi didn't mind if he held him in his arms a little, would he?
"I'm okay..." He gave the prefect a weak smile, trying his best to muster all the courage he had for coming in here to talk to Adi. "I-I just came here to ask you if we could continue our conversation from where we left off at the carriage ride to Hogwarts...is that alright?"he asked, taking out the note with the names out of his wallet again.
He sat down on the chair before staring at the floor,"I didn't believe it at first when you told me,Adi...it has been years I've given up searching for them...why would I? They weren't looking for me...when I needed them the most. I hated them.I hated them so much... I thought they left me to die in the streets ...before I was found. I thought to myself, it was better that way not knowing.. I have my new family...a new name...a new life...everything was right back to normal again...I wasn't that abandoned boy everyone took pity anymore..."he blurted out the truth on why he was reluctant at first. He patted Gus on its head before turning to look back up at Adi."I'm sorry,Adi...I-I didn't mean to blurt out to you like this..."
Interrupting?
"Nope, you're not. I was just er... putting off studying for Runes by studying for Potions.'' And really... did he need to study for Potions? Pffft. Nope. He was a boss at the subject! At Henric's greeting, Gus hopped down from the bed and towards the fifth year, stopping at his feet.
"Crrrrooooooooak!''
Uh oh. Honestly, Adi been avoiding this topic for weeks now and also avoiding a one on one with Henric. How was he supposed to tell Henric that the persons he wanted to know more about had died?
"No problem. I know you really want to know what happened.'' He was bound to find out someday, right? He led the way to him bed to sit cross legged on it. He gestured to his friend to sit wherever he wanted.
After Henric chose a chair, the seventh year remained quiet, listening to it all. His brows knitted together. Henric and hating? NO WAY. Surely he was not capable of that. When it was all over, Adi shook his head.
"Don't worry about it.'' Seriously, he didn't mind helping his friend cope.
"How do you know they hadn't looked for you though? After everything that happened, maybe they regretted leaving you.'' It was a possibility, yes. And again, Adi was relieved for Henric because of his foster parents finding him. Poor Henny.
