It took several more moments (of Reagan continually gushing over the twittering bird) before she had calmed herself enough to focus on the next Transfiguration spell; something Professor York has described as Human Transfiguration. They'd also been urged to pair up and Rea would've LOVED to do that, honestly. As a way to reach out to the younger years and help in whatever way she could. However...she was struggling herself and wasn't sure what help she'd ultimately be. So, as not to hinder anyone else, Rea bounced forward to where the Professor was standing, claiming a mirror for herself. With her own self being the target, Reagan felt she'd have a much higher success rate. She could be good natured about mishaps...should they occur.

...and they were most likely going to occur. PART OF THE LEARNING PROCESS AND ALL THAT, and FIXABLE...hopefully.

Making herself comfortable at her own desk once more, Rea carefully positioned the mirror so that it was standing; angled up towards the top part of her face and hair. She'd be able to do this much easier in a relaxed state, which included her body as well as her mind. Or maybe she was overthinking that last bit. Reagan was a Ravenclaw, you know? It was known to happen on occasion.

Of course, additional time was spent before any spell was initially cast. Yes, Rea considered herself fairly girly and knowledgeable about organic beauty tricks...but this spell was unknown to her. Maybe because she'd never seen the point in coloring her own hair...or overly styled styles, really. She'd always either curled or straightened it; both simple to accomplish...and easy to fit into hair ties when she did her runs and yoga. Efficient do's.

...but also fun to say, really.

Reagan giggled, her distress over the previously failed attempts forgotten. Also, maybe just a biiiit more practice...
