Even though they were 'catching up', Zeke couldn't help but feel as if he was in an interrogation room about now. It wasn't so much that Hady was asking questions, but again, it was he type of questions she asked. What did it matter if they could leave straight away or not? But more to the point... "Why would we have to wait if we had the key to the door?" Legit question. It made no sense. "Nah, Flamsteed said we just needed out key."

"Why?" Seriously. WHY was she asking him this?

Head tilted to the side to see her better, his hazel eyes locked on Hady. An answer would be appreciated.

Or didn't it explode on him too? That could've been it. "I see." She nodded slowly taking in what he had said. So far it matched up with Maggie. "Did you get to leave as soon as you found your key or did you have to wait?" She wanted to know WHY he had left Maggie there in the dungeon if he didn't have to.
