The smirk on his face told her he was proud he was winning this conversation. All she did though was smile at him. It was an easy silly win so she'd let him have it.

It seemed to take him a few moments to do anything at all. Had she confused him by assuming that he knew what she meant? Or was it the hug that made it awkward? Did they not hug anymore...she wasn't entirely sure. When had their last hug been? Hady was just about to drop her arm from around him and explain what she meant when she felt his head on her shoulder. It wasn't a long gesture but it was something. It that brief moment before he pulled away she lightly brushed her fingers through his hair in a somewhat friendly yet possibly caring manner. She cared, whatever it was bugging him or not bugging him she cared. Even if it wasn't said out loud.

Dropping her hand to her lap as he moved away she studied his face. "It wasn't horribly gross?" She gave a small hint of a grin before her face was blank again. She knew about the toad kissing and the toad exploding as well. There was a lot more she knew. That she wanted to ask even only she wouldn't. However she couldn't get things out of her head now.
