Still inspecting the rubber duck, Daxton only nodded his head in response to the question, because yes, he could tell her why he had needed to leave. But as she had not explicitly asked him to do so, he did not realise that what Moxley actually wanted was elaboration on the matter. It simply happened to be one of those times where literal-mindedness could be easily mistaken for Daxton behaving like a smart aleck, not that he was aware of it. No, the first year simply busied himself with inspecting the rubber ducks, oblivious to his own obliviousness. Ravenclaws were strange birds and this one was right up there on the highest branch of the strange bird tree. Moxley sort of just watched the kid as he touched her duck. HER duck. One of the many prized ducks from her rubber duck collection, in fact. She'd need to rephrase that question if she wanted a proper answer, yes? Or perhaps not make it a question at all. Yeah, she'd give him no choice but to answer.
Ahem.
"Tell me why you left my class." Sounded a bit demanding so she added a smile and refrained from grabbing the duck back. He looked ust a little too interested in it.
