"Sorry to keep you waiting for that long." She softly kicked at a small pebble lying on the ground in front of her. So sorry. Would he EVER be able to forgive her? EVER??? Would fake!crying be too much?

Her eyes wide with ~~feigned~~ interest, Maggie followed Henric's instructions. Nodding she looked at the bin he'd thrown his ball into. Right. "Okay." But that wasn't the homework assignment right? They could've done THAT individually. She didn't need a partner for that.

"But I thought we were supposed to be, like, throwing the ball at each other." She said softly, eyes the ball in her hand for a moment before looking back up at Henric. Yes?
