For the record, that made too of them. Because Zander had no idea how he got to be head boy either. It was a fluke in the system, clearly. But he was pretending to be confident about it. Because that's what he had decided to do on the train. Ahem. But anyways, the head boy NEEDED coffee and that was the real issue here. Where was it???? He may have been looking around while this Gryffindor was talking to him too. Oops. Not that she was uninteresting or anything, BUT HIS COFFEE??

But the comment and poke in the arm definitely got his attention focused in. "Hey!" He wasn't that pasty, was he? Uh. "I'll have you know, I've never been more tan." Meaning he was very tan right now thank you. Well... Tanner being a relative word here. Actually, he was never tan. He was sort of this color all year round? Was she making fun of him? RUDE. Especially rude because he hadn't had his coffee yet and clearly could not come up with clever replies. Because he most definitely would've been clever after coffee ~~lol zander pls as if~~.

Also, he was sure everyone turned into a coffee zombie at some point in their life. But all this making fun of Zander stuff was a very uncomfortable topic, so alas an attempted topic change was in order, probably. "You think they might have some caffeinated tea lying around?" Because if it wasn't coffee, tea would have to do.
