What?! Why was she get a frown and a look. A look like it was her fault or something. No one had gone and told Maggie to go kissing Zeke. Especially not her. So all Hady did was blink at her.

Blink and appear confused. They. Had. To. Kiss. Toads?

Well that was um just a bit strange. Sure it was with Professor Flamsteed like Maggie had just said bit still. Kissing toads as a detention was just...yeah she didn't have words. Hady figured it had something to do with not making them want to kiss anyone again but still.

Opening her mouth to say something Hady shook her head and then closed her mouth. What exactly was she supposed to say? Only she didn't have to say anything just then cause Maggie kept talking. Quietly yes and she appeared on the verge of tears. What Hady heard her say about the toad exploding on her she really couldn't blame the girl. Hady adored animals but not ones that exploded on you. Just no. It was wrong on so many levels. She'd have to talk to Zeke about all this. ALL of it.

And then there was that. Hair. In her face. Hady wrinkled her nose a little bit but not because it smelled funny. It didn't. It smelt fine to her, like shampoo. It was the fact of hair being in her face. "It smells like shampoo Maggie. Trust me, it only smells like shampoo." She gave a small grin and reached out to pat her 'friends' arm lightly. "I don't blame you for being so upset though it sounds like things went badly." You know the whole detention thing and all that.

"Erm Maggie...why exactly did 'you' end up in detention. With Zeke." She hadn't wanted to ask but she had to know. That stupid paper wasn't always right.
