That only grew as they arrived at an area of the forest she didn’t know existed. It was entirely possible it hadn’t existed before now, and she did a quick check for spiders before she joined the group listening to the instructions for the new activity. Not capture the flag, it seemed, but capture the sash.

She wasn’t about to get her sash taken from her. That was decided from the start. She’d gone up and collected a green one from the bag, however, tying it around her securely before she headed off away from the cluster of students. She wasn’t about to advertise where she was planning on hiding, after all. That was the quickest way to get caught. Once she was clear, though, she took her wand out and traced around herself like she’d done before. “Disillusio!” Once she was certain she’d vanished from the eyesight of the others, she looped around behind the ruins the professor was seated on. Everyone else was going for the other rocks and bushes, she’d noticed. Or using the wall as a vantage point. It was practically hiding in plain sight, especially if she hid almost right underneath where the professor was sitting. If anything, she was hoping nobody would risk hitting him.

Janelle was quickly getting tired of sitting still. Even though she had been safe so far, she felt like a sitting duck. Better to go on the ofensive, she thought. Now where would the other students be likely to hide? Would anyone else hide behind the ruins like she did? Janelle decided that that would be the first place that she would look. Taking care to be very, very, quiet, she slowly got up from her hiding place. Taking every step carfully, Janelle walked around the walls of the ruins, listening for any sound of life. She was trying ver hard not to give away her position in the process.

Too bad Janelle could not perform nonverbal spells because that would be extremely helpful right about now. Walking like a ninja, she continued to circle around the walls hoping to get a clue of someone's presence. Then a thought struck her. Hiding near a wall might be an obvious choice, but what would be the most unlikely place to hide near a wall? With an invisible smile on her face, she crept up close to the wall near Professor Dakest. And then Janelle waited and listened. Would someone dare hide themselves close to the professor. Of course they would. Were her ears playing tricks on her or was someone besides the professor there? Taking out her wand, Janelle softly said, "Finite". She didn't want to give her position away if she hadn't guessed right.
