But anyway, onto the game! Davie watched with big blue eyes as Moxley inflated things and then informed them that THEY were going to become the balls. Oh no! He didn't want to do that! He was very happy not rolling anywhere at all ever again. No no no no no no no thank you, ma'am. Fortunately, he had a partner, right? And he could be the pusher and his partner could be the energetic ball that knocked down all their pins, right???!
Right. "I'll be the pusher, and you can be the ball," Davie answered. "Here, I'll help you in and everything." Wasn't he so nice?
Olly didn't think that the bowling they were doing in class would really help them learn the rules of real bowling. In normal bowling, the people weren't in the bowling ball. But it would be fun, so he was fine with not really learning the rules.
"Okay!" He was excited to be the ball. With David's help, Olly got inside the large inflatable ball. It was so cool! He grinned and gave his partner/pusher a thumbs up. He was ready. As soon as David was ready to push, they were so going to win.
