“Burton, Theodore,” he heard, and he nervously stumbled up to the stall. He had been waiting a long time to hear where he belonged. He would be happy in any house, but he just had a tingle whenever he thought of a certain house.
The hat closed around him, the anxiety of all those people staring at him momentarily disappearing in darkness.

“Hmm yes… yes, I can see loyalty and hard-working, yes, but there’s more… really, there’s no other place for you, boy. RAVENCLAW!” he heard the hat call, and he couldn’t help but smile as the hat was lifted.
