Kate had kind of spaced out during a part of the lesson, but she was back in focus now. She just wasn't one to hang on to long discussions or explanations, but she had the gist of things. She thought so, at least. Okay, so a FIELD TRIP! That sounded exciting, but now she was sort of worried, too. Did she at least hang on to enough of the discussion to not get herself killed?!

...she was about to find out.

Kate noticed she was one of the few remaining students in the room, so she pushed herself out her chair and followed the others.
