He wasn't sure how he felt about going to another class that relied heavily on wand usage and he wasn't sure how he felt about the music playing all the way down the corridor and into the room (too many horrible memories from music lessons) but he WAS sure how he felt about being offered candy once he got there. "Gee thanks Professor!" He said with a wide dimpled grin.

Candy on the first day? Why couldn't all their classes start like this? He'd be more likely to keep showing up to certain other ones if that was the case.

His quill and notepad floated closer in anticipation of his reaction to the bean and scribbled away madly when he began sputtering and choking on his way to his seat. WHY anyone chose to make rotten fish flavoured candy was BEYOND him. Could he take back his 'thanks'? He no longer meant it, not with the way his tongue was begging to be ripped from his mouth. "Can we just have jelly slugs next time?" Please? It was safer for first impressions and he liked them.

Blaise took a seat closer to the middle of the room, deciding he needed to be able to SEE and hear but didn't wanna be so close that the Professor would immediately notice how sketchy his wand was. Name scribbled time.
