Amused, the eagle playfully swatted at the reindeer face with his left wing, not really feeling much in the way of the swat since the feathers were not flesh and didn't have the things that allowed the sense of touch and feel to happen. Nerve endings they were call, yeah? But.... Oi, Mr Reindeer! You need a breath mint, Reindeer Benny!
The Eagle took a tentative step forward on his new limbs. WOAH! Wobbly! That's what Adi felt in his feet. A few more steps, though had him adjusting in no time. But you know what was the most awesome thing? THE SENSE OF SIGHT! MAN! IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE!
Human eyes are built NOTHING like these eagle ones. Adi was looking in the direction of the Castle and he was POSITIVE he could see persons moving around in there. And no, he was not talking about blurs but their actual faces could be recognised! Could he trade his human eyes for these, please?
Still not over the awe of his temporary eye sight, Adi decided to test the wings. Let's see what these babies could do!
At least he wasn't the only one trying to communicate and failing. Benny noticed that opened mouth whistle that probably meant something that couldn't be conveyed between two random creatures even transfigured ones. The light, playful swat against his elongated nose was better understood and he would have chuckled if he was in his normal human form. He settled for a snort of sorts, with heavy breath, his head shaking from side to side. Woah...moving antlers! The reindeer stopping the shake of the head and having to settle the weird feeling that had developed.
They were definitely a bigger deal as a deer.
Benny watched as Adi tried to walk, briefly reminded of his own attempts as a canary. At least his friend was more appropriately sized for the bird-legs and the ground had a bit more give than the floor of his kitchen at home. But the eagle still wibbled and wobbled along the ground. He raised his head cautiously back up and decided to actually try moving himself. First one tentative leg and hoove forward and than another, with the rear legs countering the movement of the fore ones. It must have been a sight to see, a large reindeer and a smaller bird of prey walking awkwardly along the ground near the whomping willow like they were just born.
Seeing his raptor friend trying out his wings, Reindeer!Benny opted to give him a little push. He tentatively approached, lowering his neck and heavy head once more, using his snout to give Adi a playful nudge from behind, perhaps a little stronger that he might have intended. Fly Eagle!Adi...FLY!
