Oooh, DADA time. Davie loved DADA, even when it was early in the morning. He trotted into class and happily picked up his chalkboard and chalk, as instructed. It was then that he noticed the professor, and.... noticed that half of him was missing. It took Davie a minute of staring and thinking to figure that one out.
See, he was probably just partially visible. Surely Professor Dakest knew how to apparate and disapparate properly, so he hadn't splinched his bottom half. He hadn't messed up a spell, and then decided to hold a class. That didn't make sense. So this was a deliberate bit of magic, and it probably had something to do with what they were going to learn today, and Davie didn't need to waste the professor's time asking him about it.
He greeted the man, finally, with a sharp nod of respect, taking his chalkboard over to the corner to sit down.
