The second thing was that Adi had completely disappeared from his field of view as both their transformations had went into full effect. It was only as he remembered that his friend had used a feather that the Gryffindor thought he should look down.
Easier said than done.
*Adi?* He called, a weird sound escaped him instead which sent his furry ears a flutter as they caught it . Nope, he couldn't speak. His four hooves pawed the ground alternatively as the transformed 7th year struggled to get used to his tempermental balance as well as figure out moving his head and vision. Ironically antlers felt heavier on the deer head they properly belonged on than his human head when Adi got him with the proper spell during a duel. Benny tentatively bent his neck, the movement happening faster than he had attempted as the weight of the appendages made him more than a little top heavy.
How did stags move very much? What with both a heavy furry body on spindly legs and a weighted rack on top of a smaller head. Benny couldn't imagine doing it himself, especially in bad weather.
He finally got his head down far enough, his legs still pawing in place as his human mind tried to counteract the fear of falling. His line of vision adjusted down in the process and he could see the ground nearest him more clearer. Though it was only as he gingerly swung his head, antlers and all, that he finally spotted a large brown and gold bird perched on the ground...an eagle.
Hello Creature!Adi...
His nostrils flared as his snout neared the transfigured eagle, the stag sniffing his friend. The loose lips of his current form moving to reveal his animal teeth but nothing coming out except maybe a heavy breath. Maybe he could manage signals like he did when he was a dragon...if the eagle eyes of the Hufflepuff could make them out. Or he could manage more flexibility with his forelegs than he could at the moment.
COOL!
Him and Benny were an eagle and a reindeer respectively. Nice choice, Benny. Nice choice! Adi approved! He opened his beak to say that but of course all that came out was the looooow whistle like sound. And WHAT was that reindeer doing?

GREAT HIPPOGRIFFS! It was sniffing him! Amused, the eagle playfully swatted at the reindeer face with his left wing, not really feeling much in the way of the swat since the feathers were not flesh and didn't have the things that allowed the sense of touch and feel to happen. Nerve endings they were call, yeah? But.... Oi, Mr Reindeer! You need a breath mint, Reindeer Benny!
The Eagle took a tentative step forward on his new limbs. WOAH! Wobbly! That's what Adi felt in his feet. A few more steps, though had him adjusting in no time. But you know what was the most awesome thing? THE SENSE OF SIGHT! MAN! IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE!
Human eyes are built NOTHING like these eagle ones. Adi was looking in the direction of the Castle and he was POSITIVE he could see persons moving around in there. And no, he was not talking about blurs but their actual faces could be recognised! Could he trade his human eyes for these, please?
Still not over the awe of his temporary eye sight, Adi decided to test the wings. Let's see what these babies could do!
