...and because she'd gotten the sense that Daxton was uncomfortable with speaking, Rea didn't mind initiating the dialogue.

With a warm smile at their Head of House, she crossed her legs and leaned forward a bit. "Sir, I was personally uncomfortable with the presence of ground beef among the ingredients. So, I simply thought I might excuse myself from the activity...so not to make anyone else feel awkward."

Well, he'd asked...and she was certainly not a liar. Best to just get all the cards on the table, right?
