While I know that there will be times when you've forgotten one or two, I do expect you to at least read them. It's evident this morning that many of you didn't even bother to do that, which is quite sad." She didn't write the things down just to have nobody follow them. "I expect next class you will all have refreshed your memories. Prefects, I'm trusting you to remind the younger students to do so." Here's looking at you, Puck Greyvson. "And with that said, let's move on to the fun, shall we?" A smile graced her lips then and she began to pace. "Muggles, like witches and wizards, go to school, work, and then come home and have families to feed and care for. Life can be hectic at times and that is why it is necessary to make time to go out and do things that you enjoy." Were they with her so far? She was talking about fun. Surely they could get on board with that. "Pastimes are activities one does for enjoyment rather than for work. One such pastime for the wizarding community would be recreational Quidditch. That's quite popular among the masses. Can anyone hazard a guess as to what a popular muggle pastime might be?" Evangeline was still trying to decide what mood sticker she wanted on her robes when Moxley got class started. Ooooh, starting off with a lecture was never good. But at least SHE had followed the directions and gave the professor a high five. And although it was taking the Ravenclaw quite some time to pick a mood sticker, she was at least trying.
Finally, Evie plucked up a pink smiley face sticker, the one with the squiggly lined mouth and pressed it to her robe. Perfect, and just in time to listen to Moxley's question. Evie hadn't at all questioned the professor's outfit. She had learned that most Muggle Studies teachers were a bit off at times.
She raised her hand. "They like football," she contributed. "And they like to watch it on the telly." Rather convenient when you didn't feel like going out to a game. |
