He hoped he would find a niche eventually. But for now whatever.
"Nope that is it. I will see you in class Professor"
Dante said getting up and edging towards the door.
Paul nodded. "You will, don't be discouraged, m'boy!" he smiled and waved and stood up to let the boy out. He seemed like a..nice kid who didn't know where he was going quite yet. But that was okay, he was young! He had all the time in the world.
"Yes, I'll be seeing you in class, Mr. Barrington!" and he waved the kid out cheerfully.
Time to relax?! No--did he spot--someone else? no..no one else. Thank Merlin. He was
tired. Quote:

And if he was asking for suggestions, naturally he would chime in on a few! "The umbrella vinora," Davie answered immediately. "And similar vine ones like that? Any plants that eat like flies and stuff, those ones are really cool."
He carefully packed the big textbook up in his messenger bag, nodding all the while. Okey dokey, his first out-of-class assignment! School was cool. Davie got up to go, then. "Thanks, professor. It was nice meeting to you."
Paul nodded
. "I was--I know, many people think I was a Hufflepuff! Huh! I would never think that--" Right, because that was the CRAZIEST thought ever, Paul, really. The man was unaware of his Hufflepuff vibes.
"
OOOH. Umbrella...vinora...those are fascinating. And anything that EATS things...well...yes." He nodded.
"I'd probably put them in the older Greenhouses, the ones with more dangerous plants, but yes. I should order all of them soon--so I can have the shipments in time for later classes." Getting new plants was always so exciting.
"
It was lovely to meet you too, m'boy! Enjoy your day!" And now...for the LINE of students outside his door O_O

Though uh, trial or not, Hogwarts always had a way of pulling one over on you. It was a lesson Zander had learnt the hard way... Several times.
"I will, sir," But for now, Zander needed food. Or sleep. Or... Well he needed something and he was sure he couldn't get it in this office. Plus he was almost a little disappointed that Myers hadn't turned out to be totally evil. Bummer. Zander could've saved the school starting day one. "Thanks for having me, Professor," and with that, he walked out the door.
Professor Myers was a nice guy.
... Almost TOO nice.
Nah. Who was he kidding the man was a total teddy bear. No threat there.
Professor Myers led Mr. Adair to the door and was all smiley, yet yawny, as he opened the door.
"I'll see you in class--and--I've lots of great things about you. I think you'll make a great head boy...even if I don't know you very well. You seem to have...good character."
He smiled and hoped his words of encouragement would be nice for the boy to hear.
