"Just keep fooling yourself, AJ,'' Adi said happily. He was extra happy to be spending time with his girl. Even better was the teasing going back and forth between them. Wasn't it so nice that despite being a couple for three years, they still acted the same as when they had first met and like those days when they were just best friends? Adi now bit back a laugh. Riiiiiight, AJ. You only say thaaaaat now. "Yep, food. I can spend my entire day hanging out with food. It's way better company, anyway.'' LIIIIEEEES, ADI!
"No way you're going to be hogging all the cheese,'' the Puffer replied and without warning, reached out to snag some cheese from his girlfriend's hand. Into his mouth it went! Omnomnom. And just what was AJ trying to do? Adi stopped trying to get the dough ready to watch her. "Er, I was trying to get it into a round shape and now you've mushed it up.'' His girl... his girl was still adorable no matter what she did. Could anyone see the little hearts swirling around his head? Because she looked cute kneading the dough and because it was a good time to have some fun, the seventh year grabbed a handful of flour then tossed it on her. Heheeee.
Yeah, riiiight.
"Mama didn't raise no fool." Sure, she could be brash, but she meant well. And she almost always knew if she was wrong afterwards. AJ wasn't thinking too much on it anyways because they were all just teasing and having fun. This was something she could always count on when it came to Adi. Boy was she going to miss this when he graduated this year.
"Totally is. Your pizza isn't going to sass mouth you, and it tastes delicious." What more could one ask for?
"Never said you couldn't have an---" But before she could finish her sentence Adi had helped himself. She looked him over, and laughed. More cheese went into her mouth too. Before chewing she grabbed the hot sauce and squirted some in her mouth on top of the cheese.
"Mmm." AJ looked at her masterpiece.
"Looks just fine to me." More kneading happened, and finally a shape was forming.
"Let's make it square and SO thick it can barely fit in our mouths."
Incoming!!! Flour was thrown all over, and this meant only one thing. WAR. AJ flung a handful and made sure to throw it in the direction of his hair. How did he like that? AJ just looked at him with an innocent expression on her face.
"Addison wouldn't but my baby would be too stubborn to take her mother's advice,'' Adi teased and laughing afterwards. He liked AJ's mother from the moment he had met her. She had made him feel right at home with all the cookies and milk she gave him. Plus she treated him as though he belonged in the family already.
"So true. I get tired of sassy persons sometimes. They're a piece of work.''
Adi eyed AJ.
"How is it that pepper has no effect on you?'' Not that he was complaining. AJ's mysterious pepper immunity would come in useful in the future food because Adi could cook loads of Indian food and everyone knew how spicy those usually were. Swallowing the cheese, the Puff considered the square dough.
"Done and done!'' Haha. Who's to say they couldn't have square pizza?
"Come on, help me get it a little more square.'' And thick. Mhmmm.
....................
Ahhhh! His HAIR! Adi put his head close to AJ's face and shook it rapidly from side to side, sending clouds of flour billowing at her. Hehe.
"Don't forget you're this head of hair number one fan, AJ.'' She had been the one to point out he had great hair back when she was in first year. He was sure she didn't really liked his head full of white, powdery stuff.
