He looked towards Professor Baxter hoping he was pronouncing it right.
Then he practiced the upside down arch. The visual demonstration helped and he appreciated it. He tried it again, and a third time. Muscle memory was important.
"I think i got it?"
Standing up and levitating their chairs out of the way, Astrid shot him an encouraging nod. He was doing great. "You have the incantation right, as well as the wand movement." She especially liked how he'd done it repetitively.
"If you think you do, let's try it on..." She paused, glancing around the room. Hazel eyes landed on a flower vase with a single white lily in water. "The lily. Try to summon it." If he summoned it to his face or hopefully not hers it'd be harmless. "Remember. Get a clear picture of your intention and focus." Goodness, this was exciting.
