And the wand movement and incantations were both fairly simple for each of them. However the situation got a touch complicated when Professor Baxter explained what they wanted them each to practice on.

Benny so wasn't up to doing much nonverbally. Sure he had worked out scourgify and aquamenti for potions since they were used each and every lesson and quite useful. But still he was always aprehensive of trying another spell without words. Inward sigh. Depulso nonverbally it was. He slipped out his wand and practiced the wand movement first. One sweep of the wand...two sweeps of the wand. Easy enough.
It was the focus without actually speaking that was the trouble.
