Owen, stop fidgeting." He said to himself internally. He had to do this. This was a homework, and if anything goes wrong, well...Professor Culloden will just have to come up with an idea to save him.
With his glass of rainbow-colored potion (he already added in the animal part) clasped tightly, the Hufflepuff took a look at his surroundings (who knew, it could be his last time to look at his surroundings as a human) before bringing the glass to his lips.....BUT HOLD IT RIIIIIIIGHT THERE.
He just saw an older boy place some things on his goblet. ...Animal part? He HAD to have the same agenda as Owen. Owen had to find out. He would feel more comfortable with this if he got to do it with someone. The guy looked nice enough, surely he wouldn't mind.
"Excuse me," the young badger started, "Are you doing the Potions homework?" Please say yes please say yes.
He really should have brought food with him. He knew he'd be bored...and stay as his preferred animal for hours. He was sure he brewed his base potion well, and that he didn't miss a step, critical ones or otherwise. He also willed the potion to be a strong one, so he gauged that he'll have to deal with being a cute--oh.
Oh a person! A person who might've food!
Ethan turned to see who it was, and almost jumped in excitement that the kid who found him might actually have a stash of sweets at least. Well, he looked like he always have food in his person, no? Anyway.
"Hello." Ethan grinned at the boy wearing a yellow trimmed robe.
"I am. Are you?" he asked eyeing the thing in his hand. Who knows, maybe the newcomer was just hungry and wanted to have a good view while munching his chow...
