Ethan was surprisingly in a good mood that day, and he was in the right disposition to get one of his homeworks done. It would have been better if he didn’t need to do any school work that day, but for someone who already took his OWLs, he knew that it was best not to waste time on doing absolutely nothing.
…
In all seriousness though, how can he let a good day pass just like that?! And so, after taking a very light breakfast from the Great Hall, Ethan got his goblet, brought it out of the castle, and drank the rest of his pumpkin juice as he walked around the castle grounds. Merlin, he was really going to miss his morning walks once his seventh year is over!
Far from the Whomping Willow, Ethan sat on the ground and watched a few students pass by him contemplating whether or not he should give his Potion homework a go. Was it really a wise idea to do it alone?
As thoughts of apprehension swirled inside his head, Ethan didn’t notice himself finish his pumpkin juice, clean his goblet with a cleaning spell, transferring his base potion in his cleaned goblet and added his preferred animal part into his drink. Squinting, his potion turned into a nasty shade of brownish gray. Ethan could bet that the potion won’t taste that good too. Making a face, he looked around his immediate surroundings, wishing he had packed food with him. What if he got stuck in that form for hours, got hungry, and won’t be able to climb up back to the castle?! It would be disaster!
