Aaaand after a moment of observation, it became obvious that Sophie was NOT aiming for the second planet. So. They could be friends again, no more mortal enemies, and also Dot was really sorry for mentally shaving Sophie's head for her betrayal. Double hugs after class!
IN THE MEANTIME, that second planet had to be nearly completely covered by now, and Dot wondered if she ought to turn her attention to the third one. Sorry, Sophie-daisy, but she had to participate in class. You know how it is, right?
Ahem. Another marble, another lined up shot, and another, "Tikalas" before she sent the marble sailing. Maybe her heart wasn't in it now that her superhero anger had waned, or maybe she didn't really want to take out Sophie's planet, but her marble sailed right past planet number three.
That made it... an meteoroid, right? It never entered the planet's atmosphere. Maybe she was actually getting this??! NOT THAT PROFESSOR. AIREY. FLAMSTEED. WAS FORGIVEN. Never that.
