Pulling out his wand Leo made his security check of the charms and locks of the nearest bookcase and then moved onwards assuming that Paul was following.
At the next bookcase he unlocked one of the locks as Leo pulled out a book from one of his many robe pockets and placed it on the shelf. With care he locked the lock again before he stole a glance at Paul curiously. "What book did you want to read for your OWL studies?"
Moving to the bookcase that had held the book that was now in the care of the ministry he cast a series of extra spells before Leo answered Paul's question. "Some students have time tried over the years to explore in here but none luckily have gotten further than the entrance before I've stopped them."
Oh DEAR. That surely did sound ominous! Paul covered his ears for a moment and looked around...anxiously. Well then. Way to make the fellow nervous, Leo! He just nodded and let his hands down to hang at his sides leisurely once more.
"Oh gosh...I don't even remember, Leo..so LONG ago..it was for Transfiguration, though, I know that." He....was almost sure of it. Almost.
He wanted to touch the spines of some of the books..instinctively...but he refrained from doing so. This section was so creepy. But it was also...necessary. The students sometimes needed access to these higher level stuff.
"Oh gosh...rule breaking...the thought of it makes me shiver--" which he was doing right now, of course, as if he were cold or something. "
I'd hate to take points...oh, I dread that--I dread it so much--I hope I never have to take points from anyone---EVER."
Was that dramatic?
