Filling out her nametag, Janelle put down her favorite charm. It had become her favorite after last year's Charm's class. She wasn't able to produce her patronus.......yet. but she would do it, or else.

Zander was of course saving the seat beside him for none other than--Oh. Uh. Well a Ravenclaw, yes, but this wasn't the particular Ravenclaw he had in mind. But Zander gave her a goofy smile and nod nonetheless. Guess he'd have to work harder at saving Sophie's seat next time. Perhaps he'd set a notebook on the table or something to show that it was taken... Would that be mean? Welp. "Go ahead," not like he was saving it for anyone, oh wait. Sigh. But there was no way she could know that. "Jenelle, I'm Zander," he remembered working with her on a group task in History of Magic once, with Cutty and all... But it was a while back. So no harm in reintroducing himself.
SPOILER!!: Professor

Head Boy Adair. Still sounded weird. Just sayin'. And man. he was afraid she'd pull the 'your an example now' card. Yeah, yeah he'd encourage it. "Fair enough, Professor," and though he didn't want to give his tie away to just anyone, he took it off slowly and held it in his hands. Maybe he could swap with Soph? She definitely wouldn't steal it. And if she did, well, actually he wouldn't mind.

SPOILER!!: Dante

And yeah name tag.[/COLOR]

But it looked like he wasn't giving his tie to Soph today... Turns out he was gonna be a Slytherin. Weird. Super weird. "Uh sure... Dante, right?" he nodded, exchanging his tie for for the one in the boy's hand. Were they meant to wear these around their necks still?Because tying them sure was a pain.

SPOILER!!: Prof

It's a way for me to get to know you." Because Merlin knew just how much office time she had (she would make as time as she could) but she was sure they had other lesson things that needed their attention as well. This was the best way to get to know them and to warm up their brains and get working. "You have ten minutes." And go!

Okay Professor Baxter must really like writing. First the writing for the wall. Then writing out things for their nametag. And now an ENTIRE paragraph of writing. Merlin, NO WONDER she was a Ravenclaw. He knew because of her tie. What an observer Zander Adair is, people.

He wasn't going to ask anymore questions this time, seeing as the other one only got him the 'be an example' card. So head down, the Gryffindor took out some parchment and began writing.... What did Charms mean to him anyways?
SPOILER!!: Paragraph

I like Charms 'cause it's hands on. It's not just taking notes like History or watching things happen like Astronomy. You actually get to DO stuff. Charms is all about manipulation I think. A little like transfiguration, except not as hard because you already have your object in mind and you're not trying to turn it into anything.... Just trying to get it to do something differently than it normally would. I've never been horrible at Charms, but Professor Quigley said that I need to work on the stuff going on in my head when I'm trying to cast one. So I guess I don't really have a particular charm I want to learn about, but I want to learn more about how to cast charms in general. I wanna learn how I'm supposed to actually imagine the stuff happening and really focusing in on all that... stuff.

Stuff being learning how to believe in his abilities when it came to this class, but that wasn't something he fancied putting down on parchment. And also, he hardly even knew this Professor yet. Not gonna trust her. Well, not gonna trust her yet anyways. He was still the same skeptical Zander from third year, alright?
