They had to write a paragraph about charms?

Alright. Paulina could do that.

Taking out a piece of parchment and a quill she tried to work out how exactly she wanted to put things. Sometimes wording wasn't the easiest thing for her, and she was not yet familiar with this Professor. What if she was super strict and docked points for improper spelling/punctuation?

After a moment she got started and hoped that she was doing okay:

SPOILER!!: Paulina's Parchment
Charms deal with adding or changing the properties of an object. As with most forms of magic, some charms are easier than others. The Patronus Charm for instance is really hard because it requires intense concentration and a really powerful memory. The amazing thing about charms is that they really come in handy through day to day life; I've already used quite a few today and by tonight I will have used many more. I can't say that I have a favourite charm as I don't think it's right to choose favourites. I can't even choose one charm to want to learn, because I'd rather be educated in as many of them as possible so long as they aren't harmful to others. I think this subject is really interesting and like increasing my magical knowledge.

Short and to the point.
