Most people in this situation would be able to have a civilized conversation. Raised voices would happen, sure, but the last thing you would expect would be a tackle. You see, AJ marches by the beat of her own drums and it was safe to expect the unexpected when it came to her. One could never accuse her of being dull.
Benny was flat on his back which meant that AJ Valentine still had it. Being able to knock down a boy that was two years older than you might come in handy for a resume. In fact it could show that she would have no problem taking care of magical creatures. Her cup was always half full.
Anyways, an interrogation needed to happen.
He didn't want to. AJ didn't want to hear NONE OF THAT.
"Oh, and I guess somebody twisted your arm and MADE you do it then." Because it seemed like he had all the choices in the world. If he would have done the breaking up over the summer then Angel could of had some time to process it. Matter of fact, arm twisting sounded like a pretty good idea to get some answers. That helpful little tidbit was stored for later, Benny. Just in case he wasn't forthcoming.
He didn't want to do it in a letter. Well, that was kind of him. No, he was the enemy. All she could see right now was a hurt sister. AJ eased back out of his face a bit, but made no move to actually get up off of him. She got it.... Pretending would never be something she would want for anybody. What kind of life was that?
"Why though?" This was make it or break it for him right now.
"What happened?" Say it was for another girl and Benny and his new love interest was going to get it.
