No, she would know about that. Adi wouldn't be able to hide that something was wrong with him even if he tried. AJ knew him too well, and he usually wore his heart on his sleeve. The fifteen year old was referring to only the summer, but since he brought it up...

"So I guess that means something else wasn't so great." It didn't take a Ravenclaw to figure that much out. "What's up?" He could talk to her. AJ considered him one of her best friends.

More stalling. This time the mention had been of Angel. Was all of this about Angel? It would make sense as to why this felt a little weird. Angel was her sister. The sister that she shared a face with. One eyebrow raised, and AJ completely forgot about the ball that she was supposed to be hitting or at the very least dodging. "Everything... okay?" Without realizing she was doing so, she squinted her eyes at him. Over protective slightly older sister here.

AJ smacked the ball back in his direction without even looking at it. The teary eyes Angel at the feast came rushing back to her. No. It had to be about something else. Her sister was sensitive. She could have been crying over not being able to find the right shoes to go with the right outfit.
