SPOILER!!: Ben
Benny was going to play this by year. Yep, he wasn't going to dwell on things too much. Perhaps there was understanding or they were just going to have a friendly game of tetherball on the school's new playground. Whatever the case, he probably shouldn't focus on the bad stuff all the time. He was a Gryffindor after all...he didn't want to be afraid of his friend.

He tried to prepare himself for what was to come, watching and waiting as AJ took the tethered ball and served it up around the pole and heading in his direction. A question followed it and the seventh year did his best to keep his focus on both fairly. No giving up this early in the game. "Its..." the young man hitting the ball back towards his companion successfully in the opposite direction.

"It's alright." Seemed a fair enough assessment at the moment. "How about with you?" The question served to return the favor as well as to try and test the waters with the younger lion. To see what was up, if anything. Perhaps there was a chance she DIDN'T know what had happened on the train. Benny knew Adi had been with AJ since but he wouldn't have said anything unless it was brought up....right?

Hesitation. How odd. If everything was all right then there wouldn't be any hesitation. Or at least she though so. Of course Benny was hesitant by nature so maybe she was just over thinking it. HA! It wasn't often she would get accused of that. Still, he was her friend and she was getting a weird vibe. "Only all right?" she wondered out loud. The lion wasn't one for biting her tongue. It was safe to say that if she was thinking it, it would be taking a stroll right on out of her mouth.

By this time though, she couldn't dwell because the ball was coming back to her. Without missing a beat, she smacked it a little bit harder than the first time, and watched it sail back in the opposite direction.

"I've been great. I had a really fun summer, actually." She beamed just thinking about it. "I bet Angel kept you busy even if you guys didn't get to hang out." Angel was good about that. She bet her sister kept Benny on the phone for hours, and sent him loads of letters with perfume sprayed on it. AJ laughed. It was so Angel.

"I can't believe you and Adi are seventh years. It's really going to be weird around here without you guys." She figured her sister would have a harder time dealing with it than she would.
