And yeah it was WAY to early for Dante to even think about OWLs. That was a whole year away. Nope not even thinking about it. He had questions. Transfig questions and just questions in general. "Interesting Office, you have here Professor."
He did have questions on Tranfig related topics. But those could wait. Beatrice wasn't surprised that the hot chocolate lured the student into her office. One flick of her wand, and a mug of creamy hot chocolate was levitating itself towards him. She gave an approving smile to him, as he said her office was interesting. "Thank you. I prefer having my own furniture. It's big enough to do everything I need, really." Socialise, mark work, talk with students, Beamer had enough room to walk around, and she could play music whenever she wanted. All in all, she was very satisfied with it.
She walked back towards the white leather lounge chairs in the corner, hoping the student would follow. "Now, I'm afraid I don't know your name," she said, hoping he would go from being 'the student' in her head, to having a name. Well, of course he had a name. SPOILER!!: Benny and Paulina Quote:

"Are you alri--?" He asked, breaking off when she questioned about cats shortly before one was revealed. Oh...that could be the cause. It was a shame that he didn't still carry anti-allergen potion on him like he had taken to last term when he had proven to be allergic to cobwebs. But alas his last vial was in his trunk for emergencies.
However Professor York was the hero, providing some for the Hufflepuff. Yay to her! Surely she was more trustworthy than others that came to mind.
Benny took the invitation, entering the office and following the woman. He took in his surroundings before being brought back to the reason for their appearance in her office. The young man wasn't aware of Paulina's reason, but his hadn't been forgotten. " I wanted to...inquire about help in possibly training to be an animagus." There....it was out there. Quote:

As soon as she stopped sneezing for a moment, the entire contents were downed. This should have her feeling symptom free for a year if memory served correct, and that was something she really appreciated. Maybe it would be a good idea for her to make sure to take the stuff whenever the previous dose wore off, because cats were very common and sneezing was not pleasant.
Benny was here about learning to become an animagus, and Paulina had to admit that was why she had come as well. Or well...as soon as he had mentioned it, she remembered that animagi was something that interested her. How cool would it be if she could turn into an animal like a bird? Just no cats. "Well, I wanted to say hello. But I would also like to learn about being an animagus," she admitted. Beatrice tried not to smile at the sneezy thanks, but failed. The sneezes usually came at the perfect time. She was glad the student didn't sneeze with the potion in her mouth. That would have been messy, and perhaps a little funny as well. Once it was all downed, Beatrice beckoned the two students over to the lounge chairs. She waited for them to sit first.
It turned out both students had come to learn about how to become animagi. Beatrice settled back into her chair with her hands clasped in front, and looked between the two students. "What are your names? And Years?" she asked, curious. It was a very difficult subject, becoming an animagi, and Beatrice felt she should know their names. It seemed they were here for information on how to become an animagus, so that they may one day become an animagus, rather than just curious information. She had all of the information regarding the process, though she had never had a desire to do so herself. However, the subject of human transformation was one of her favourites, and she just loved to talk about it. She couldn't help but smile proudly at the students, who wanted to learn about such a difficult subject. SPOILER!!: Aditron! Quote:

Adi squinted at her slightly. She was obviously trying to get into his good books. Yeah, that's what he told himself. And she was SO cheery! Cool! But he was still suspicious of her somewhat. He knew she wasn't trying to take Bellaire's place but that's how he saw it.
His face broke into a genuine grin, however. He couldn't help it. It was his thing. "Hello, Professor York.'' Of course he knew her name, too. Adi scanned the office after heading in. "Pretty comfy place you've got here.'' He spotted the cat. Awh! York had a fluffball! "What his name? Or her?'' Could he hold it? Beatrice just smiled, raising an eyebrow slightly as he squinted at her. Did he not expect his professor to know the names of each house prefect? "Do you need glasses, dear?" she asked, lightheartedly.
She was glad his face broke into a grin. She wasn't fussed by much, but a grilling by a student she did not want. She did a little curtsy and said "Please, call me Beatrice," waving invisible things from the air. No formalities in this office, it made her feel too strict. She smiled proudly at his comment regarding her office. "I think so too," she agreed, looking around. Yes, she was quite happy with the current layout. The Headmaster had been right when he said she could change it every few months, and the thought of doing so had made her feel much more comfortable to leave it as it was.
Beatrice looked down at Beamer, "She. It's Beamer, she's very friendly." The cat was the biggest Puffer she had ever met, which was saying something. SPOILER!!: <3 OWEN! Quote:

Hehe. And between the new Herbology and Transfiguration Professors, he chose to visit the latter first. He heard she gave out treats. It made his food!senses tingle. He was so excited to find out what treats the woman had in store.
Practically bouncing on his heels, the first year Hufflepuff knocked. TOK. TOK. TOK. Beatrice looked up from her lesson plans as she heard a knock at her door. She put the parchment into her office drawer, in case it was a student, and walked over to open it. Standing there was a younger lad, and Beatrice simply beamed at the dear. "Hello," she said, standing aside, "Please come in!"
She realised she hadn't yet opened some of her sweets, so she walked over to the fireplace and opened a bag of marshmallows, filling a bowl with them, then opened a box of Bertie Bott's and opened them into another bowl. Her favourite. She threw one into the air and caught it in her mouth. The moment she bit into it, her face scrunched up in disgust. "Vomit," she gasped, reaching for her water goblet and gulping it down. Hopefully there was only one in the packet.
She gestured to the two bowls, "Would you fancy a bit of a pick-me-up?" she asked. She always needed a pick-me-up. "I'm sorry I don't remember your name," she said, hoping he would tell her. Of course she had heard all of the first years names during the sorting, but there were so many of them. "But I do remember you were sorted into Hufflepuff! My old house," she added with a smile. "Congratulations. How are you finding your way around so far?" Beatrice remembered what it was like being a first year, trying to navigate the castle. It could get very overwhelming!
