Ancient Runes and Arithmancy did not sound like ideal subjects to Oliver. They sounded pretty boring, but he wouldn't judge yet since he hadn't taken them. "I'm looking forward to Care of Magical Creatures." He loved animals and thought the subject should be interesting. Oliver much preferred hands-on learning, as opposed to lectures and lots of studying. Defense Against the Dark Arts sounded fun too. Oliver agreed with Tom - he was just excited to learn magic.

Oh look, someone else had come with them. Oliver grinned at the new addition. "Hi Lucas! I'm Oliver." He was always eager to welcome new people and make new friends. He really wanted to get to know the other first year boys, because he would be spending the next seven years of his life with them. Luckily all the ones he knew so far were pretty cool.
