Maggie wasn't sure if 'got carried away' was such a good way to put it but she didn't correct him. It seemed like nothing either of them could say was going to turn Professor Flamsteed back to normal. Well. HIS kind of normal. Which was still quite NOT normal for other people.

His face still looked like he'd caught them....defiling his precious Pebbles or something.

All signs of being on the verge of crying gone from Maggie's face, she just stared at the professor. Was he serious?! Detention?! DETENTION?! Couldn't he just....make them promise never to do it again and let them leave? After a few moments of silence, Maggie turned to Zeke next to her.
"YOU chose this place!" He had too. She wasn't even lying. So it was sort of his fault that Professor Flamsteed had caught them. Maggie tugged on his hand quite forcefully.
