As Colt was in his mode and he got all the ingredients necessary to make pancakes, he was mixing them all into a bowl when he heard someone call his name. He turned his head and furrowed his brows and saw it was KATE! He smiled widely and put down his mixing bowl. "Hey there Kate.." he nodded towards her. Was he blushing, he hoped he wasn't. "You're impressed a guy is cooking?" Eyebrows were raised for that statement. "What you don't think guys can't cook?" he was teasing of course but he just wanted to challenge her. "Well I needed to learn to cook out of necessity unless I just wanted cereal for lunch and dinner." he shrugged and snickered at her. He grabbed the bowl and mixed it once more and began to pour the batter onto the frying pan and made little silver dollar pancakes.

"This was my mom and my favorite thing to do in the morning.." he grinned and began to flip them as a pro. "Well what's on the menu is chocolate chip pancakes or regular. You can chose if you wanna join me." he smiled towards her. If she had other plans then he understood.
