He was enjoying himself too much to care what the sound of hurried footsteps meant for them, because, yeah, this was nice. What was NOT nice though, was the volume at which Professor Airey seemed to be speaking. The shock of it rendered him rooted to the spot - which Maggie seemed to be only too happy to assist him with. Falling back a step or two, he somehow dragged her back with him. Hello again. But as much as he would have liked to ignore the Professor in the room, it was hard when the man looked rabid.

Uhhhhhhhhhhh... would it be inappropriate for him to say they were doing a human interpretation of two celestial bodies coming together? Big bang even? Yes? No? He didn't know. All he knew was that Maggie wasn't speaking, and Professor Airey wanted an answer.
"We uuhhh... umm... were inquiring? scientifically?"
Zeke tried for a casual 'whoops' smile, because Professor Airey was awesome, right? Right? He'd smack their hands and send them to dinner, right?
