With permission :) ~ Rise and Rise Again, Until Lambs become Lions ~ It was with mixed feelings that Sabel had made his way up to the Headmaster's office. Mixed feelings of the topic of conversation that they were about to have, all muddled in with past memories and their associated emotions. Needless to say, it was an uncomfortable mix.
And given that the current Headmaster was a good deal older than himself, Sabel once again felt like a child in trouble for one thing or another, as he made his way up the steps after giving the gargoyles the pass-phrase. A much bigger child, but child all the same.
Huffing out a breath of air, Sabel shook the thoughts free. He would hardly be able to make a good argument if his brain was muddled with this and that.
Out of courtesy, he rapped his knuckles against the door before admitting himself. He almost cracked a grin at the portrait of Truebridge, forgetting for a brief moment that she was no longer the big cahoots in Hogwarts. And with that reminder, the office felt all of a sudden very unfamiliar.
He hadn't spent much time getting to know Botros the previous year, and now he was rather regretting it.
