Maybe he wasn't in his office and she knew better than to just leave it by his office door. She was in Slytherin territory now and they are were liable to come by and take it, those cunning little snakes. Especially once they got a sniff of this yumminess.

So she had two options open the door really fast and slide the cinnamon roll in the door or stand there and look pretty while waiting for him to return back to his office.

Cinna was about to do the first one but then a third option popped up in her head. She could just eat the cinnamon roll and come back later. This was her favorite option now. She was just about to go find a place to go eat when she heard someone coming up the corridor. Squinting her eyes she seen that it was Professor C.

"Hi, how are you? You're not busy right now are you?" She smiled, and stepped on into the office. If he was busy she could just drop off the cinnamon rolls and come back to talk about NEWT stuff later.
