A fluffy pink blanket was pulled out of the basket and spread across the grounds and then two small plates with a few sandwiches. Leo was going to meet her for a little lunch in between duties. While she waited she pulled out her parchment. A pink quill feather in hand she began writing to Nessa. The term starting seemed odd without her.
Green eyes lifting she smiled a little watching the students. Outside the castle walls the weather was promising a beautiful fall day and thus Leo had arranged with Cassie that they'd eat lunch together outside on the grounds. It was when you arranged lunches or other meetings that things tended to crop up. This day was no different.
Making his way out on the grounds with a wrapped present under his right arm Leo followed the trail down to the lake taking in the growing leaf piles under the trees. Winter was approaching swifter then he liked. Spotting Cassie along with her kitties Leo waved as he made his way over to them.
Stopping at the edge of the blanket he smiled down. "Hi Cassie, beautiful day isn't it?" Sitting down on the blanket next to her he gave her a light peck on the cheek before holding the wrapped present out to her. "I got you a little something." Hopefully she'd like getting a new diary to pen down all her thoughts and emotions in.
