Adi nearly fainted when he strolled into the random room. Instruments... instruments everywhere! But the piano was what grabbed his attention. He had played a bit of that over the years and so he believe he was reasonable at it. Without further ado, he bounded over to the instrument, pausing at the drum equipment. The drums were the third instrument he was working on and he was less confident of his talent with that.
He sat at the piano to tap some keys at random to check that it was in tune. Yup, yup. Everything sounded great! Now, which song to play? Oh, he knew! The Puffer began tapping the keys again. It would be an unfamiliar one to practically everyone at Hogwarts because it originated from India but it was one of his favourites. He sang along as he played, getting lost in the music.
Marsha was excited to be back! She hadn’t gotten lost yet, had gotten hundreds of hugs from her friends that she hadn’t seen all over the Summer and she had even managed to find time after lunch to take Suri to the Creature Housing to meet the faeries - and to introduce her specifically to Adi’s two; one of which SHE had been allowed to name last year. Hehe.
However, as she made her way back to the common room she heard music. Coming from a classroom she thought wasn’t in use. Wait… What? This wasn’t close to Professor Glendower’s music room… She followed the sound until she pinpointed the door that it was coming from and then pushed the door slightly, just letting herself peek through the gap…
ADI!!
She pushed the door open further and peaked into the room.
”Woah.” She said as she closed the heavy door behind her before moving across the room as Adi played some kinda song that she didn’t recognise and sounded.. vaguely… Indian? Was that right? Hmm… She didn’t really know but it reminded her of some Bollywood theme songs her aunts had been listening too from a soundtrack compilation on the radio.
”Hi Adi…” She called out as she moved around the side so that she would be standing in his line of vision and towards the bottom of the grand piano. Smiling widely, she tried to lean on the end of the piano only to realise that she was far too short to do that comfortably. So, instead she moved to sit on the edge of the piano stool as Adi continued to finish the piece he was playing. She liked it, very relaxing.
