One of the first things she did was head down to the lake. She adored the lake. It was her favorite part of the grounds, especially in summer. The girl hummed to herself as she sat herself down. Her only problem was that she had no idea what she wanted to do after Hogwarts. It really sucked, and she knew she needed to try and decide soon, so that she could pick the right subjects. Shaking her head, she got brochures her mom had picked her up from the ministry. She had already read this, but was hoping to get a little bit of inspiration now. Or she hoped so anyway.
This was going to be his last fall at the castle, and since fall was his favorite time, Caleb wanted to spend as much of it outside as he could. You know, before allergies and all that nasty stuff started to get in the way. And then it was going to start snowing and the whole thing was just a disaster. Ugh. He needed to move to Florida or something after graduation. Somewhere nice and WARM.

Carrying Josh in his bag, he found a nice spot by the lake and plopped down, taking out his notes so he could start to study for NEWTs. It was no use trying to ignore it anymore - they were coming, and he had to be prepared! He let Josh out of his bag, and the little gray kitten started to paw at a dandelion nearby, meowing happily to himself. Caleb wished he'd stay a kitten forever - they were just SO CUTE.

As Caleb read about constellations, prepping both for his NEWTs and preparing for their next lesson, he suddenly realized the meowing stopped. He looked up and saw that Josh was wandering off towards a girl hanging out nearby - great, of course, why did he think a KITTEN would be behaved out here?!

"Oi! Josh! Leave he--oh, hey, it's you!" he said with a smile when he realized that it was Grace that Josh was headed towards. Not some random person. That was good. He took his stuff and moved over next to her, raising an eyebrow as he peered at the pamphlets in her hand. "What's that? You studying for NEWTs too?" he asked.
